Biography (1)
Hungarian film and stage director. Born in 1952 in Szeged, he studied at the Hungarian Academy of Theatre and Film in 1975-1980. He has written a series of screenplays and successful shorts. His feature debut "Shooting Gallery" had its premiere at the Cannes festival in 1990 and won a number of prizes at international festivals all over the world. His subsequent films were also highly acclaimed. "Strangled" is his latest feature.
