Biography
Sitaru studied Film Directing in Bucharest. He wrote and directed the short Waves in 2007, which won the Golden Leopard at Locarno Film Festival, and was selected in Sundance. His first feature film, Hooked, was selected in Venice Days, Toronto, and BFI London. His filmography includes The Cage (2009); Best intentions (2011); Domestic (2012); Excursion; and Counterpart (2013).
