Biography
Fanny Bräuning was born in Basel in 1975. In 2001 she obtained her Master of Fine Arts in Film and Video from the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK). Her first feature-length documentary film No More Smoke Signals (2008) premiered at the Locarno Film Festival and received the Swiss Film Award for Best Documentary, among many other awards. Her second feature-length film is The Journey (2018).
