Originally from Adelaide, gary Swet attended Flinders University where he studied teaching. After graduating he won a small part in the classic Australian series THE SULLIVANS. He stayed with the drama for two years. Sweet earned critical respect for his portrayal of Donald Bradman in BODYLINE and the award-winning role of "Mickey" in the long running ABC television drama series POLICE RESCUE.
