Michele Placido was born in Ascoli Satriano, Foggio, Italy on May 19, 1946. He is one of the most famous actors, directors, and screenwriters in Italy. His career started in theater and expanded over the years to films and TV series, gaining international renown. He has acted in more than 50 movies; 7 Minutes is his twelfth film as a director.
