After graduating from high school, Ryan Humphries took his love for filmmaking and headed to Hollywood to immerse himself in internships and on-the-job training in the film industry. Three years later, he took his skills back to Northern California where he discovered the wooded area surrounding his family's home was the perfect setting for his first feature-length film, Sounds. Surviving off part-time graphic designer jobs and music remixing, Ryan spent three years writing, filming, editing, scoring and producing his movie.
