Biography
Joachim Back (Denmark) started his film career as a set runner before making his first films with friends and borrowed equipment. In 1997, he started making commercials and his 2000 spot for MTV, The Mouth, was shortlisted for a Gold Lion at Cannes. His short film, The New Tenants, has won a number of festival awards including the 2010 Oscar. He lives in the USA and directs award-winning commercials.
