Gareth Evans

Gareth Huw Evans (b. 1985, Hirwaun, Wales), screenwriter and director, started out in 2003 with the short film Samurai Monogatari, in which he cast Japanese students attending Cardiff University. In that same year he graduated with a master’s in film and TV scriptwriting from the University of Glamorgan, and in 2006 he debuted with the self-penned feature Footsteps.
