Derrick Borte

An American writer and director of German origin, he studied painting at Old Dominion University and chose the career of coveted artist. He later graduated in media studies at The New School in New York City and worked at Sony Music Studios, where he combined his artistic talents and education in film and video. His feature film debut is his authorial work The Joneses (2009), which he's followed with, e.g. the dramas Dark Around the Stars (2013) and H8RZ (2015).
