Biography (1)
Born in Wiesbaden, Germany in 1965, he currently lives in Berlin. His work as a director, producer and screenwriter has already featured a number of times in the Berlinale. In 2011 he was a member of the jury for the "Dialogue en perspective" award in the Perspektive Deutsches Kino. He won the German Film Award for Der Totmacher (The Deathmaker) and the Silver Leopard at Locarno for Manila while Das Himmler-Projekt (The Himmler Project) won the Adolf Grimme Prize.… (more)
