Biography (1)
J-P Valkeapää, born in 1977, is a Finnish director. His first feature film The Visitor (2008) was also his graduation film for the University of Art and Design in Helsinki. His second feature film They Have Escaped (2014) has been chosen for the official selection in Venice and Toronto International Film Festivals. Valkeapää has also directed short films and worked as an illustrator and a graphic designer.
