André Nemec was born and raised in New York where he attended Riverdale Country School. After college, he and Josh Appelbaum broke into the entertainment industry together as television writers and have remained longtime writing and producing partners. Appelbaum & Nemec's early credits include Early Edition for CBS, Going to California for Showtime, and Fastlane for Fox.
