David Marqués

He is a Spanish screenwriter and film director. He is the author of the award-winning trilogy Cualquiera, Aislados, and Deshechos. He later directed, for the first time, a screenplay by someone else with En fuera de juego, a coproduction with Argentina. In his fifth feature film, Dioses y perros, he switched to a more intimate genre, before returning to comedy with El club del paro and En temporada baja. He wrote the script for the successful film Campeones, which won numerous awards, and co-authored Campeonex, the highest grossing film of 2023. He has also directed series such as Diarios de la cuarentena or Relatos confinados and he has directed theater.
