Alex van Warmerdam

Born in Haarlem, Holland, in 1952 he studied Graphic Arts at the Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam and was a founding member of the musical theater group Hauser Orkater. After leaving the group, he created, with his brother, the De Mexicaanse Hond Company, with which he’s put together thirteen plays since 1980.
