Biography (1)
Jeanine Meerapfel was born in Buenos Aires, where she trained in journalism. She has had an extensive career both in Argentina and Germany. Her filmography includes Malou (1980), The Girlfriend (1988) and The German Friend (2012). Since 2012, she presides the Berlin Academy of Arts.
