Álvaro Longoria

Álvaro Longoria is a producer, director and one of the founders of Morena Films. As a director, he has focused his career on documentaries. In 2013 his first work in this field, Hijos de las nubes, earned him the Best Documentary Goya. Since then, he has directed The Propaganda Game (2015), shot in North Korea and also nominated for a Goya, Dos Cataluñas (2018, co-directed with Gerardo Olivares), about the independence crisis in Catalunya, Ni distintos ni diferentes, Campeones (2018), following the lives of the stars of the film Campeones (Champions, Javier Fesser, 2018),and Santuario (2019), starring the Bardem brothers and screened as part of the parallel activities at San Sebastian Festival.
