Biography
Noël Dernesch was born and raised in Zurich. He studied at the Zurich Academy of Arts and Media Design, where he specialised in Film/Video. Since then, he has been working as a freelance director. His debut film Journey to Jah received the DEFA Award at the 2014 Max Ophüls Preis Film Festival and the Audience Award at the Zurich Film Festival.
