Matías Piñeiro

He studied at Universidad del Cine, where he later teached the film and film history courses. In 2011, he moved to the United States to fulfill the Radcliffe Institute Fellowship at Harvard University. He is now teaching the film course at Pratt Institute, in Brooklyn. Piñero comes and goes from New York to Buenos Aires where he filmed Ariel, a proyect by CPH:LAB, based on The Tempest, William Shakespeare, co-directed with Lois Patiño (Costa de morte).
