Biography
Jacco Groen (1964) is a Dutch screenwriter, director and producer. He studied at the Netherlands Film and Television Academy. He established himself with his screenwriting and film productions, which include short, feature, documentary and TV movies, e.g., Solina (1994), Fenix (De Feniks, 1999) and Losing Track (Spoorweg, 2006). He works for the production company Springfilm and is the cofounder of its endowment fund. The drama Lilet Never Happened (Lilet Never Happened, 2012) is his feature-length debut.
