Shin Suwon (1967) is South Korean director. She is a graduate of the Seoul National University and has worked as a high school teacher. While teaching she wrote two books about young people. She later graduated in screenwriting from the Korea National University of Arts and began to pursue the film profession with success. She made her debut feature-length drama Passerby No. 3 (Re-in-bo-woo, 2010), then directed the films Modern Family (Ga-jeok shi-nae-ma, 2012) and Pluto (Myeong-wang-song, 2012).
