Biography
Ali Asgari is an Iranian director with more than 200 accolades to his name. His short films More Than Two Hours (2013) and The Silence (2016) were both nominated in Cannes for the Golden Palm. His feature film debut Disappearance (2017) was developed while at the Cinéfondation Résidence in Cannes and world premiered at Toronto International Film Festival. Asgari is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Until Tomorrow, his second feature-length fiction film, had its world premiere at this year's Berlinale.
