Taru Mäkelä

Taru Mäkelä began her career as a director in the Finnish Broadcasting Company. She wrote and directed a TV comedy series which drew over a million viewers each week, and which nowadays has cult status. After her success in TV, she continued as a freelance director of drama and documentary films.
