Magaluf Ghost Town

Ghosts, human sacrifice and hordes of inebriated Englishmen are among the main ingredients in this satirical depiction of the resort town Magaluf on the Spanish island of Mallorca. Mixing documentary and fiction to capture the surrealistic qualities of a community built on hedonistic mass tourism, director Miguel Ángel Blanca has made a genre-defying film which is equal parts ghost story, character study and real-life black comedy.
