After winning a tour package in a game show, the bickering Griswald family carve a trail of destruction through England, France, Germany, and Italy. I can't help it, but that family is so stupid and dysfunctional that I don't understand how they can function at all. I know it's supposed to be funny, or at least it should be funny, but they are so annoying to me that I can't even look at them anymore. Occasionally, a good joke really saves it, but the characters are killing it for me.
