Roy Rogers travels to Las Vegas to engage in the annual Heldorado Week - an actual event held out West every year. The gala is a mixture of staged shootouts, imitation hold-ups, festive parades and other events revolving around America's final frontier. During the celebration, Roy gets sidetracked from the usual festivities - ending up in a showdown with some crooked gamblers counterfeiting thousand dollar bills and pulling the wool over the casinos' eyes.
