English Cheap bollocks. The main character is a pastor, as if to make it look like the film has a deeper theme. Many well-known rock musicians appear in cameo roles, as if to make the film at least of interest to someone and to initially have the ratings on the fan databases jerked up to acceptable values. It bites into a number of motives, but in the end it's not about anything. If anything works, it's the twenty minute or so of bloody mayhem in the last act, when the film stops playing at being something it's not and starts piling one gory scene on top of another. At that moment I felt slightly alive, but in the end it's just a forgettable B-movie. ()
