Peace in the Valley (2023) (S02E09)

English I'm inclined to hold back on complaints because the usual dark and oppressive atmosphere has returned, bringing with it solid tension and a much-needed progression in the story after two rather stagnant episodes. It was about time. While I anticipate that the creators will leave some loose ends for the next season, I have high hopes that the finale will be packed with excitement. I already mentioned that I was missing some development in the past two episodes. However, one thing I didn't miss was a character whose strange behavior had already annoyed me before, and now the creators have brought them back in full force. Nevertheless, I'm eager to see how the second season will conclude, and perhaps I'll finally find out why nobody mentioned the dead guard. Sure, he was off duty, but I expected at least a few words about him. / Lesson learned: "As you make your bed, so you lie on it." You can see what it looks like in practice. ()

Little Green Ant (2023) (S02E10)

English I won't deny that the finale didn't exactly leave me in a state of bliss. I had higher expectations for the creators, so I settled on a slightly disappointed four-star rating. To be frank, I would have loved to give it a five, but some aspects of the plot felt rather peculiar. I'm getting tired of the wounded doe look, and I wouldn't be sorry if I didn't have to see it anymore. What truly caught my attention, and surprised me, was how everything that was meticulously built with a lot of personal commitment was simply erased with one phone call. It leaves me curious about the direction of all the storylines in the upcoming season. Regardless, the fact remains that the end of the second season fell notably short of my expectations based on the first season. / Lesson learned: Sclerosis doesn't hurt, but you have to do a lot of running.
