This decent genre exercise serves up an ample helping of mystery and suspense, though it’s permeated with clichéd motifs and insufficiently explained in the climax. The gloomy British climate, dark music, good actors including the young lead. I really didn’t expect a full-blooded horror movie among the debuts at the Days of European Film festival.

A solid European festival horror film, nothing less, nothing more. Slow, chilling in places, with nice use of Irish folklore. There are plenty of worse ways to spend 93 minutes in current horror, so feel free to invest in this film.
