In their only film with veteran director Lesley Selander, Roy and Dale join other Republic guest stars to lend support to this colorful vehicle for Monte Hale (who later returned the favor in Roy's Trail of Robin Hood). Trying to get his horse, Pardner, into the movies, Danny McCoy (Bobby Blake) befriends newcomer Monte, who tangles with Western star Rod Mason (John Dehner) and falls for Danny's sister, Gloria (Adrian Booth).
