A costume swashbuckler in which Wilde heads to the jungles of Guatemala with Currie in order to search for ancient treasure, which will allow Wilde to reclaim the estate which his villanous uncle snatched from him. When Wilde returns to France, Currie and his daughter Smith decide to stay in the quiet of Guatemala. After getting his land back and discovering just what type of woman Bancroft, the woman he was set on marrying, is, Wilde decides that the jungle is the best place for him also and makes the long journey back to it and Smith. The interesting scenery of the Mayan ruins adds interest to a strictly formula venture. A remake of 1942's SON OF FURY. (official distributor synopsis)
