The Binding is a film about possession, which essentially limits itself to the idea that possession is only reflected in the eyes. It would almost seem to be a pretty good psychological game, that the evil actually comes from within us, but even in that respect the film is not strong enough and it just doesn't have the actors to pull off something like that. If you like possession movies, skip The Binding. There are much better films out there.
