This satiric film takes place in a modern commercial establishment with a sort of model value. In her summer holiday Juli, a secondary school student, goes for a training to the chemical company where her father is employed. Juli finds that the workers there are engrossed in everything with a great enthusiasm but work. The young male staff peep the women in the ladies' room, the chief engineer is busy to repair his mini television, the old gatekeeper carries various in-door plants here and there on his bike, and the director's main passion is ship-modelling designed to be a major voluntary work of "societal importance". Only the doorwoman seems to be on the top of her job when she instructs the right work morale through the nuts and bolts of hoeing. (official distributor synopsis)
