Kerekes András gold wreathed sports pilot fails at the exam with assistant lecturer Tóth Panna. Unexpectedly they meet again: András builds an aeroplane and Panna has to check his computations ex office. They regard each other as great opponents, though in reality they are getting to fall in love with each other. Panna points out the miscalculations of András, András in reply takes off with the machine and suffers a bad failure. In his shame he retires but later begins to learn and work hard with the help of the community. His machine on her first flight will be accompanied by Panna -not accidentally. Their confessions of love are witnessed through the ether by almost the entire Eastern Europe. (official distributor synopsis)
