The second season had an awkward start, but by the third episode, things really started to pick up steam. This momentum carried through to the eighth episode, which I thoroughly enjoyed. However, like the other episodes, it left me with a bit of an unpleasant aftertaste. I long for a film or series where genuine storytelling takes precedence over misguided political correctness. / Lesson learned: If someone doesn't like parties, make the party a surprise!
