Choulequec

In search of his missing daughter, a man arrives in the strange town of Choulequec. From the first person he speaks with – the local sheriff, as luck (?) would have it – he realizes that he’s in a place where linear thought doesn’t much apply. Wickedly inventive and juggling tones like few films can pull off, Choulequec pops with direction, writing and sheer feats of timing that amaze. (Fantasia International Film Festival)
