The interplay between Jiří Sovák, Vladimír Menšík and Jiřina Bohdalová was rarely bad. But when it was, it was mostly the script, which didn't give the actors the polished dialogue and interesting situations they deserved. And this is the case with this film, which would have been completely unnecessary with a different cast.
