Another Time, Another Place

Lana Turner stars as Sara Scott, an American reporter working in England during World War II. Living in London in the dark days of the war, Sara starts a passionate love affair with another journalist, BBC reporter Mark Trevor. Mark refuses to marry Sara, however, since he already has a wife and a child residing in a small village in Cornwall. Mark leaves for the continent on a dangerous assignment -- when he perishes in a plane crash. Upon learning of her lover's death, Sara has a nervous breakdown.
