We have all said “I don’t have time” at least once in our lives. But what exactly is the time we refer to, and how can we best imagine it before it slips through our fingers? Àpeiron is a documentary that reflects on time using audiovisual media from the microscopic world, astronomy, nature, and everyday social life. It oscillates between reality and fantasy, drawing attention to various perspectives and dimensions of time being examined. The film is inspired by an idea of ancient philosopher Anaximander, who perceived the world as infinity (apeiron), which, together with the opposing elements, gave rise to life. Apeiron is an essential part of life activity, eternity, and infinity. (Academia Film Olomouc)
