Plots(1)

Bill Murray is perfectly cast as the voice of Garfield, a cynical orange tabby whose attitude is only outdone by his appetite. When his hapless owner Jon (Breckin Meyer) brings home a dog named Odie in an effort to romance attractive veterinarian Liz (Jennifer Love Hewitt), Garfield's routine is ruined. What's a cat to do? Punt the mutt out the door, of course! But when the talented Odie is snatched by a greedy TV show host, it's up to the fat furrball to save the day. (Home Box Office)

English The ever-hungry orange cat has made his way to the big screen. It’s too bad the casting was poor, and the combination of the CGI cat and the live Odie is also poor, so I really don't see the point of having a sequel to this. Jennifer Love Hewitt is cute, but she's not Liz. ()

English I mean, I wasn't expecting it to be good, but the only good thing about a Garfield movie is actually that Bill Murray voices him and that he retains some of his cynicism. But otherwise, the casting is terrible and simply doesn't work. This isn't an homage to the comics, this is supposed to be a blast for the whole family, but really for no one. ()
