Romantic films have been quite a mess lately, but Cameron Crowe still has something special - mostly - and clearly had plenty of it at the beginning of his career. A beautiful film that doesn't necessarily strive for sentimentality at all costs, but is entertaining and features great performances, when today you wouldn't say that John Cusack was capable of something similar.
