English The second collaboration between Pierre Richard, Gérard Depardieu and Francis Veber isn't as goofy as my beloved La Chevre, but fortunately that doesn't mean it isn't funny. Or that it's boring. On the contrary, I like the way Veber decided not to build on what he did so well in La Chevre, but rather to take an almost completely different path... And how he succeeded again. ()

English What would we ever do if the 1970s and 1980s French movie era didn’t exist, back when they used to alternate between great comedies and not less great crime investigation flicks? I mean, everyone would surely mourn for those. The nicest thing about it is the fact that the movies still bring people joy, even to this day, thirty years after they were filmed in France. And that’s truly beautiful. ()
