Within one 24 hour period, three sets of friends in three dysfunctional situations will collide in the raucous Los Angeles underground party scene. It's Christmas Eve and Ronna and Claire are supermarket checkout girls desperate to score some quick rent money. It's a simple plan -- all they need to do is acquire 20 hits of ecstasy from Simon and his drug dealing pal Todd and turn around and sell them for a small profit to Adam and Zack, two soap opera stars looking to hit the night club scene in style. But alas, nothing is so simple. Ronna will soon find herself at the center of a police sting, Claire will be taken hostage, Simon will be shot which will make Todd quite upset, and Zack and Adam will find themselves not only in hot water, but at one bizarre Christmas party. English Maybe I’m over-enthusiastic, but I think this worked perfectly. Amazing fun consisting of three related stories with a criminal theme (so, something like Pulp Fiction, as everybody has rightly said). It has pace, nice characters, humour and swagger. An ideal movie to watch with a bunch of friends and talk about what’s happening on the screen. ()

English This was quite a big rest. Go is a great anthology crime film with three stories that are intertwined and revolve around fun young characters and drugs. Very funny and lighthearted. Who would have thought back in 1999 that Doug Liman would make a blockbuster Edge of Tomorrow :) Story****, Action***, Humor***, Violence*, Entertainment****, Music***, Visual***, Atmosphere****, Suspense****. 7.5/10. English The spectacular success of Tarantino's film Pulp Fiction sparked a wave of movies that tried to either copy or at least imitate it and exploit the audience's interest to the max. Go falls precisely into this category of films, and its inspiration from Pulp Fiction is obvious from the fact that it copies its structure. It is also divided into several separate stories of individual characters that intertwine with each other. Once again, there are interesting stylized characters who utter memorable lines, engage in illegal activities, and live a life far removed from ordinary bourgeois ideals. There are basically no positive characters in this world, everyone is somewhat tarnished. The humorous exaggeration is also important, where violence and crime are presented as a form of entertainment. On the other hand, the weakness of Go is the screenplay, which partly imitates some past films too much and is not as polished. In addition, neither the screenwriter nor the director had enough courage, so they did not go to extremes, and it is characteristic that at the end of the film, nothing really happens to anyone - the characters simply experienced a wild weekend that left no consequences except for something to remember. At the same time, there is an apparent effort to target young audiences with this film, a tendency toward teenage comedy that was so popular in the 90s. Overall impression: 65%. ()

English The fates of several young people divided in three short stories. Thanks to the interconnectedness of the stories and their titles on a black background, Go felt like some sort of teenage Pulp Fiction. At times harsh, at times funny, and most importantly, briskly filmed, it has pace. Also worth mentioning is the great soundtrack, especially in the first story. ()
