When Nick (Ice Cube) falls for single mother Suzanne (Nia Long), he initially doesn't have to worry about what her kids think of him because she just wants to "be friends." Undeterred by this statement- or his buddies, who dog him for loitering in the stalking-friend zone- Nick keeps hanging around. So when Suzanne finds herself in a jam and needs someone to escort her kids to meet her in Vancouver for New Year's Eve, Nick gladly opens the door for opportunity. It could be the best way to win her heart or the biggest mistake of his life. With more than one destination on his mind, Nick embarks on a road trip he'll never forget- and neither will you! In the context of family films, it's not as awful as the reviews here might suggest. I think child audiences might be entertained by this comedy. I found the overdone ending the most bothersome. (50%)

Is it possible to make a comedy without a shred of humor? Brian Levant has tried it with success, and so we have the "honor" of seeing this work on our screens. Indescribable hell; and the "dialogs" between the player's CGI mock-up and Ice Cube, will leave many viewers baffled... There’s no point in writing anything about it. Only a few seconds in, the only question that springs to mind is: Is it over yet?
