Just a Phone Call

It is a musical comedy about the difficulties of forced education. Kati is scheduled to learn agriculture though she is a lot more interested in maths. Her mother, employing her charm, turns to a good old friend, Forgács György, whose puritan wife is nothing less but the director of the much desired high-school. She calls the school long distance and introduces herself as the minister's wife. The promotion bears success and Éva proves her capability in the school, even falls in love. Although the trick is revealed, it does not cause a problem, as one of the family's relatives, a representative, has arranged things in the meantime and Kati will be able to continue her studies at the mathematical faculty of the neighbouring county.
