I’m not reviewing Play Motel as a horror film, but rather as an erotic film, because it works that way, not so much as a horror film, because there's not enough suspense and there's no real mystery. Play Motel pretends to be a giallo, but the detective story isn't strong enough for that, and it's not delivered in a gripping enough way to make you follow the plot more than the nudity.
