Uncle is the first part of Elliot's trilogy about strange relatives. The film is a short bitter comedy about an ageing man who is not able to enjoy the little things in life. The author focuses on various details of his uncle's life and, despite exaggeration and irony, uses them to authentically portray his personality and character. (Anifilm)
