Maybe the last movie from the ‘90s where Eddie Murphy is still okay. As a negotiator he’s pretty good or, more precisely, he talks non-stop. The action is decent too and a few good ideas emerge (the cable car, the elimination of the villain at the end), plus, ten years on, these action comedies are quite... refreshing. This is just how they used to do things. Darn, I must be getting old. (03/28/2007)
