In 1975, logger Travis Walton (D.B. Sweeney) and his co-workers encountered a UFO. His pals were able to flee - but Walton was not so lucky. Whisked aboard the strange craft, he was subjected to a painful, unearthly medical study. Fire in the Sky is the amazing tale of that ordeal…and of the contempt and ridicule endured by Walton and his friends as they tried to convince others of this otherworldly experience. (Shout! English The plot arch would be barely enough for a short story a couple of pages long, but what makes Fire in the Sky worth watching is not the plot, but that breathtaking sequence in the last part, the contents of which I don’t want to reveal, but it’s something that even The X-Files would envy. There aren’t that many films about alien abductions and this one deserves a chance, even if it’s a B-movie about nothing really, but it did give me a chill and a feeling of uncertainty. ()
