Michael Lewis (Andrew McCarthy) is a New York architect who is in London to refurbish an old hotel. While there, he experiences frightening dreams. His horror comes to a head when he kills an old woman with his car, and her spirit visits him afterward and explains that she had the ability to see and communicate with spirits while alive and she has passed this power on to Michael. Soon after, Michael becomes involved in solving the case of a serial killer when the ghosts of the murderer's victims repeatedly visit him. (official distributor synopsis)
