Nicklas is a student in a Swedish small town. With his grades his future seems rosy, but as his conflicts with the bullies at school and especially Anneli, their touch leader, grow worse, his destiny will change. When Anneli thinks he has informed the police about a robbery their fights escalate to brutal violence. At school the next day Nicklas realizes something is wrong when nobody notices or hears him. A different kind of melancholic ghost story with an interesting premise, excellent execution and fortunately a well handled ending, which in another form could have buried all the previous qualities of the film.

Sweden and the typically harsh north. The story revolves around an intelligent young man who gets into a fight with the school bully and when he comes to school the next day, he is invisible to everyone. A very interesting take on the invisibility/spirit theme, with bullying and Sweden's unpleasant environment embedded. Didn't completely blow my mind, but definitely a must for fans of the North. 6/10.
